We dedicated to preserving the arts of the Kurai Kotori Tradition. The arts of our tradition are taught in their entirety. No skill, no matter how obscure, is overlooked. We believe that in order to embrace the true meaning of warrior-hood, one must delve into every aspect of training. This quest leads teachers and students alike into a realm where the knowledge of the past, provides the key to the future.
The Kurai Kotori clan strives to maintain very realistic fighting methods that are applicable in today’s society while also holding firm to the traditional concepts of our Japanese forerunners. The warriors of old knew that the secret to effective technique lied in the application of strategic and unorthodox tactics. This is perhaps the most important lesson one can learn on their journey towards combative enlightenment. Whatever works…works.

This site teaches a variety of arts. Ninjutsu (the art of the Ninja), Bushijutsu (the art of the Samurai), Kunoichijutsu (the art of the Female Ninja), Ko-Ninjutsu (the art of the Young Ninja) and Chambara (the art of Theatrical Combat and Stunts). Each system is studied independently and students rarely cross-train, except in the case of Chambara, which is available to any student within the clan.
